Testimony recently discussed includes fingerprint evidence, as well as Westerfield's clean laundry. The Van Dam home was (strangely) devoid of fingerprints, except for a couple of latents that didn't match any of the pizza party people or, apparently, David Westerfield.

Westerfield's motorhome didn't contain any of his fingerprints, but did have one print from Danielle L. (the daughter of Westerfield's ex-girlfriend), Jennifer (a friend of Danielle L.), and a partial from Danielle Van Dam.

The prosecution said yesterday that they would be finished "in seven court days".

Q 9.1...could have come from Danielle L, relative or someone else....was represented to her as a blonde hair but showed up as probable from Asian population.

so what's your guess at his salary?

My guess would be high 5 figures (i.e. $80K) to low 6 figures (i.e. $120K) throwing in a little bit for being a consultant since they seem to get paid more.

every hair evaluated was not measured or photographed by her..photos of hair were sent to DA by their attorney....she did some of the testing but works w/team...team member did the work that this lady is representing.

That's a good question and maybe you can clarify. Do "contract"
employees at Qualcomm receive stock options or other
preferential stock-buying treatment? Do they get health
insurance for all family members?

Do you know what the length and color of Halfman's hair is?

Only idea I have is from looking at the one picture of her in court with the VD's.

Looks like a wig to me.

her work is only accurate if the previous team member did theirs accurately......Holly Bratcher did the DNA extraction on these hairs.....Q10 was inadaquete sample provided to them by SDPD..she can't say........total of 4 hairs provided by SDPD to mitro unit on 2/14....

Tanya Delaney refered samples from SDPD to mitro...asked to provide comparision on Danielle L..4/26/02....marked special for mid May trial

SUV hairs excluded Danielle Van, BVD and family maternally related....but included genetic female maternal of Danielle L.

hairs were not bleached....cannot tell if hair has been colored by mitro...trace examiner can...not in her notes..

BTW....I forgot to mention that I found it also strangely coincidental that the photograph of the blood spot was the Polaroid shot that should have been 35mm.

If I understand correctly, the clearer and more defined picture would help to show if the blood was spattered, dropped, smeared, etc. Isn't is just a little odd that this critical analysis cannot be done because of the poor quality photo?

I do not know this off-hand. I don't know of any consultants at this time. I'll have to go find out.
