Why do you believe that the dog belongs outdoors? What is wrong with the dog sleeping inside? Why do you even have a dog if you keep it outside? Don't you ever interact with the poor dog?

Who says they belong there? DO you ever let him in the house? I'll bet your dog is very agitated and lonely....at least get him a buddy.
