Not really.......you're already willing to place html codes in your text, so it's simply a matter of beginning each one with a p or br tag.....that's no biggie

When I say "each one", I don't mean each instance you want to use html within the text, I mean 1 time for the entire reply........start your post with the P tag (3 keystrokes) and then do everything else regarding html codes as you have always done.

I like what I call "classic Free Republic;" in year 2000, it worked great.

However, the spreading out of the threads, to extra webpages is probably much easier for downloading; speeds things up; that would be the one improvement.

Otherwise, it worked great.

This is going to sound stupid to some [many?] of you, but can you keep the writing from continuously scrolling to the right -like 'word wrap'? I don't know how to change that - I liked it the previous way.

Whatever happened to the nice little HTML clues at the bottom of posting page? How can I live without them? What do I do if I want to post a link with a title, not just the url showing? Please give us dazed and confused nontechies the HTML how-to stuff back.

ARGGGGGG I miss those little cheats. I need them. I copy and paste them and like to add text or titles to my links. Oh what will I do.

You had to hit the enter key 8 times, so it saved you 4 strokes.

Actually, to make a paragraph break with html, since both the opening and closing tag requires that two keys be struck (ctrl + < p ctrl + >), the total # of keystrokes would be 5 per paragraph tag.

If I would have had to manually enter the paragraph breaks, it would require that 20 keystrokes be made minus the 4 double taps of the enter key = 12 keystrokes saved.

It's not the ctrl key.....it's the shift key!

LOL. Now why didn't I ever think about my left hand holding down the 'shift' key while my right hand did the others!! Simultaneous doesn't count!!!!!? Actually, I didn't know you could use CTRL for that.
