The Power Plant I work at instituted a site wide tobacco ban a while ago (which I ignore freely, with full knowledge of the consequences if I get nailed) not just on smoking, but all tobacco. It's the kind of crap you expect to run into in socialist Europe or Kalifornia.
I dealt with horsesh*t like that in high school, but I'm a big boy now.

To echo freeee's reply to you, they smoke like chimneys in many Euro countries. Also, Kalifornia is at least two states. There is the ultra-PC Bay Area + Hollyweird axis, and then there's the rest of the state. FR is based in the rest of the state.
