On Sunday, I caught the last part of a show on MTV that features Ozzy and his "family." Kind of a Leave it to Beaver for Generation X. It comes on after "Jackass," which I admit with great trepidation that I never miss.

The show was pretty lame except for one part where one of Ozzy's roadies is walking with him, showing him how to operate various pieces of equipment backstage before a concert. The roadie then showed Ozzy one device which blew little soap bubbles. Ozzy sat down, looked significantly at the roadie, then exclaimed "Wait a minute! The bleeping Prince of Darkness does NOT have bleeping SOAP BUBBLES during his show!!!"

Guess you had to be there, but I almost died.

No he's not a great musician... his harmonica skills are pretty good, but not great I'd say.

He IS however, a great singer.

Saw your daughter and you at Wango Tango a few days ago Ozzy. Your daughter stunk up the joint to no end. She is tone deaf and very fat. So when she sings that she is having her baby, nobody is surprised and we all wonder what month she is due in since she is so large already.

I thought hearing Nancy Sinatra a few years ago was torture, but your daughter's one song was enough to empty the stomach of all watching and listening in the Rose Bowl.

The talk all over the place after was of how she must have had another singer cut her song, because she could not sing a note.

Maybe Ozzy had a dream about Kelly and the future and tried to hang himself. Lord knows the crowd listening to her on stage the other day were also brought to the same frame of mind.

Kelly was a total loss for the crowd.

Civilization will rise and fall whether Ozzy ever pissed on the Alamo. All the ranting and raving we do here is about as effective as that long ago slash at the Alamo, as far as civilization is concerned. It appears to be a downslope run in this country.

Osbourne was so poor as a child he only owned one pair of shoes and socks at a time.

Since that's all one can wear at a time, doesn't sound like a horrible deprivation to me.

I guess I'm just naturally stupid because I don't think a drunk inadvertently peeing on an outer wall of the Alamo compound is that big a deal. He was sorry and donated money to the Alamo when he was made aware of it. NO BIG DEAL!

Well, one of the big attractions of heavy metal in general and ozzy in particular is that it irritates people like you. That's not said to be mean or insulting, it's just the truth. Rock and roll is about revolution against the establishment, heavy metal even more so. Anybody that doesn't get it is immediately branded as "one of them" and the fact that "they" hate it just makes it more attractive for the rest of "us".

That and it's loud. Loud is fun.
