Duh? Because its the law of the land?
If Reno's injunction was thrown out by the appeals court and Ashcroft's has yet to pass court scrutiny, what established law is being violated?
When Reno did it, it was found to be unconstitutional,
Ashcroft is disobeying the law of the land. The court has spoken on the matter.
They're just politicians after the Democrat vote, at the expence of their base.
Decieving? Sure. Rightous? No way.
Guess some folks believe that their cause is just even if it breaks the law and why should a little thing like the LAW be enforced since it doesn't suit their purpose?
Amazing -- look for the pile ons of the anti-Bush crowd! If I am ever stopped for speeding, how about if I tell the cop I don't like the speed limit so he cannot enforce the law and give me a ticket! That would never fly but what is the difference -- the law is the law and it applies to everyone! If this person doesn't like the law, then work to get it changed -- otherwise obey the law or go to jail -- his choice.
