What do you mean by the 'anonymous' part?

Maybe John has fixed it by now. When it first came up it said some strange thing iike, "you are an anonymous poster. You must click on the anonymous box or your identity will be revealed on the forum." But once you clicked on it, it didn't come up any more. John said it was probably just junk like everyone said. I guess he took it away.
