That guy Mohamed, head of that mosque, is the only source that I have so far seen for the assertion that he attended that mosque in (or "around") '95. It's not very firm evidence.

One of the sources yesterday had Padilla working briefly at a country club, after the Taco Bell job. It was probably in '94 some time. This was said to be his last recorded job in this country, and to be according to some court record. (How did he support himself after that?)

According to yesterday's Washington Post, Padilla legally changed his first name to Ibrahim in '94. They gave an exact date. It may have been May 20th. I suspect this was the court record that listed his country club job.
