I've been in countries with heavy Moslem populations, and I am way too polite and courteous to go into someone else's home and declaim Jesus, evangelize, or otherwise toot a horn. As my hosts encourage discussion, I participate. But I'm not a slob to insult my hosts. And I don't consider my duty to convert others to my way of thinking. Their thoughts and beliefs are their private property.

The issue is that they have an inferior culture. You are making excuses for them. They are free to practice their religion in our country - are you free to practice your religion in theirs?
Who still owns slaves in 2002?
Whose priesthood openly requests the killing of innocent Jews and Gentiles?
Whose countries hold women as inferior - not just culturally, but literally?
What more do you need to know?
Please - none of us give a damn about your "houseguests". But their governments, home country cultures, and many of their religious leaders need to be taken at their own words for what they really stand for. Ask youself "Why do my houseguests live here - as fully protected citizens, men and women. Does your wife have the same rights in their home countries?"
