So sorry I've been out of the loop this freeperthon...work pervails (BUT it is much nicer sitting on the "freeper Creeper"

Joe - had a meeting with a bunch of folks at my office today including two health nut lawyers (CONSERVATIVES thank god) They were intrigued by the chairs (one is 56, still has a waterbed and remembers the good old days of the resting on your knee chair (get the picture???)He now says he stands as much as possible. He tried mine out alot and will probably hit your web page. It didn't hurt that my 30 year old blond babe secretary was "scooting" all around the office to demonstrate its "mobility" (dressed for after work golf LOL!)

Keep up the great work all of you. Hubby is going to try to post our dogs tomorrow (a Clinton view and a GW view) Little does he know, if it works, it's gonna cost a major pledge from us!!!! Again, thanks ALL OF YOU!

I should have included you in my thanks too! Hubby also really wants to try to go to the Vegas convention. That's the end of my folks time in the north so it's touchy but we're sure going to try! Thanks for your efforts!

Randy Johnson gives money to charity each time he wins
that's why I think he'd be good Governor, he is sincere
he likes livin' in Phoenix
guess he didn't like 40° summers up in Seattle :)
altho he grew up in Walnut Creek, CA which is where my mom just moved to be near my brother in Berkeley
Love, Palo

My Mexican friends took me to lots of places that normal tourists never go. It was so interesting. I went to Patzcuaro, a very old spanish colonial town. The town is on a lake and on the lake is an island. The island is called Janitzio. On this island is an indian village. Also, this lake is one of two lakes in the world that has a type of fish. It's a little fish, similar to a minnow. I don't recall the name of the fish. Anyway, to get out to this indian village, you have to take a ferry. There are no cars at all. The ferrys are kind of scary, because they are rickety and old. It only costs 10 cents, US to take the 40 minute one way trip.

The indians are marketing their fish. They have the men dressed in traditional costumes fishing. The ferry takes you by their 'fishing' spot and you get to see them fish. Then, right before the ferry leaves, the fishing boats come along side the ferry to collect tips.

On the island, it is kind of depressing. The indians are trying to survive and cater to the people who come up for weekends from Mexico City. I guess it's about 2 hours north of there. Did you know Mexico City has 26 million people living there and it is the largest population city in the world right now?

As you can see, the island is a small mountian, and at the top is a statue to some ruler. To get to the statue at the top, you have to climb stairs. Along the way, old women are sitting along the steps picking fish heads off. The houses are lined up against each other and the all are trying to sell trinkets. Mostly junk made in China. We could have climbed inside the statue. We didn't. The fish smell is horrible.

I don't think I would go to that place again. It was kind of sad. But fascinating at the same time. I'm glad I experienced it.

Well, maybe he wanted to be in a more warm climate...also the management of Seattle, did not want to pay him what he wanted...we have lost more than one good player that way...I shudder to think what is going to happen when Ichiros contract is up...hes such a dang good player, and so young, it will be a shame if they lose him, because they dont want to pay him what he wants...

I did not know that about Randy Johnson and his charity donations...he seems like a very good guy, and happy to see that he gives back some of what he earns...that is gracious of him...

That's how I felt yesterday and the first day we starting bombing. (That first day, I counted over 600 threads) It's really tiring, isn't it? Everything I looked at was purple!

$50 from Texas, with the comment: "For Baby _____, who was greatly helped by the power of Freeper prayer, and for JimRob and John, for letting me call on it. She's doing wonderfully! Thank you!"
