We sure do know the drill...and its so wonderful, I can hardly wait to do it again, hopefully this fall...

I also love little Depoe Bay....neat little touristy shops, and 'The Sea Hag' restaurant...or Seaside, and 'The Crab Broiler' restaurant...we have our favorite little places along the way...

Great report - are you a travel agent, or Chamber of Commerce type person?

You're whetting my appetite to get NW very soon. Thanks for the information, very much!

Port Orford sets in an absolute beautiful spot over looking the ocean. We all ways stop at the rest center park just south of the main drag to just watch the incredible view.

Since the Succulent Oyster closed years ago, good restaurants are a little scarce. So you drive up to Bandon where a lot of excellent restaurants are.

Did you know that Port Orford was attacked and had shells fired at it by a Japanese sub in WWII? They really kept that little episode quite.

"You could have made 300 one dollar contributions......heh"

Yeah, I thought of that WI, but I knew old fiddlstix was just a poor old Texas rancher with only 300,000 acres with an oil and gas well on every 640 acre spacing.
I didn't want to stretch him.

That so funny....one time I was describing Washington to my cousin who lives in Kentucky....when I was done, I thought, geez, I sound like I work for the Chamber of Commerce.

I just love this state so much, we have to much beauty to offer, I just like to encourage people to visit us..

Read your email. It came through all five times! I just hate it when that happens. (Don't worry, you'll only be charged once : - )

To all: usually when you get the error message the transmission usually comes through anyway and Badjoe will email you right back with a thank you. If you DO NOT get a thank you then it did not go through.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Thank you, goosie, for supporting Free Republic, the best website on the web!

Depoe Bay is great little place. Most months of the year you can see the teenage whales a few hundred yards off the coast.

The Seahag is excellent. If you just want great chowder and good food fast, you can't be the MO's up and down the North to Central part of the coast.

BADJOE emailed me and said my donation went through five times but being the great patriot and wonderful FReeper that he is, he only took it once. Thank Goodness.
