I met a group of these so-called "voters" at an association party after last falls election.

They are so indignant, that the rules do not let them vote in both places that they own property, they do not believe they are doing anything wrong! Typical comment: "I have a right to elect the people who spend my tax money...everywhere!"

It was discussed openly and also how to get around the qualifications for tax reductions by "homesteading" in Florida and only living here 2-3 months of the year!

Education/penalties/enforcement can help with the small fish double voting but the bigger and tougher problem is how to eliminate it on the large scale. Clearly large scale vote fraud is organized.

What we need is for the FBI to get involved, sting some of the small guys to get them to turn in the big guys. Then RICO the whole organization.

Lot's and lot's of 'rats would go down.

As an election inspector for many years in Western New York State I find it hard to believe that any big errors are made at the precinct level. We tend to know our neighbors and when they move we know it.

I know times have changed, but the machines were always signed off as being at zero by 4 inspectors. The total votes in any race could not be more than the total number of voters who signed the poll books. Each chairman checked the newspaper the following day to see that the reported totals were correct.

We opened our own absentee ballots and checked them at the close of the polls...yes it took about 10 minutes extra to add to the totals the votes that were correctly submitted.

Since they were in our hands on election day postmarks were not even considered! They can not be late if they are there! Postmarks should be considered only if arriving after the election. Federal and State Courts have ruled on this, just as they have in bill payments( say IRS!), where postmarks are the criteria for timely payment. This was a very stupid move on the Gore effort to change the results of the election.

I wonder how big cities could change the totals in each district? We all had the same rules!

I always see comments about how the votes of some candidates are inflated....don't know how it was done.

I was only in one condo assn. after the election, but the number of folks in West Palm Beach, saying they voted twice, was huge! 25 of 35 who were at the party seemed to be "proud" of it too!
