A Compilation Of Some The Most Outrageous Recent Misstatements From The Left

President Bush is working to change the tone in Washington while Democrats continue their partisan, inaccurate attacks. We have compiled a few of their constant outrageous misstatements. Check back each week for the latest ridiculous rhetoric from the left.

Terry McAuliffe - “When George W. Bush wakes up on the morning of November 6, he’s going to be met by screaming headlines about a Democratic sweep. And he’s going to want to go back to sleep and pull the covers over his head . . . because he’ll know that we’re coming after him next.” (Terry McAuliffe, Speech To New York Democrat State Convention, May 22, 2002)

Senator Hillary Clinton - I live in the real world. I got on the subway in the Bronx a few weeks ago and a woman came up to me who works seven days a week.” (“Hillary Clinton Plans To Concentrate On Local Issues,” Business Week As Cited In The Bulletin Frontrunner, May 31, 2002)

Paul Begala - “The difference between Martin Sheen and George W. Bush is Martin Sheen is actually convincing when he acts like he’s president.” (CNN’s “Crossfire,” June 4, 2002)

Governor Howard Dean – “I actually call this act the ‘leave every child behind’ act.” (CNN’s “Inside Politics,” June 3, 2002)

Senator John Kerry - “I say it’s time we make clear to the Republicans that we will not let them make a mockery of the phrase leave ‘no child behind.’” (Sen. Kerry, Speech To Massachusetts Democrat State Convention,” May 31, 2002)

Terry McAuliffe - “The Justice Department’s efforts appear to be motivated by the narrow political interests of the Bush Administration.” (DNC, Press Release, May 31, 2002)

Senator John Kerry - “We must uphold the promise of Roosevelt, Truman, Kennedy, Johnson, Carter, and Clinton and never allow the President and his Republican friends to threaten Social Security by putting it on the Wall Street trading block.” (Sen. Kerry, Speech To Massachusetts Democrat State Convention,” May 31, 2002)

Terry McAuliffe - “The reason Republicans have tried to make the war a campaign issue is because they have no fresh ideas to present to the American people . . . because they have no solutions to our domestic policy challenges . . . because they have no agenda that reflects the values of working families.” (Terry McAuliffe, Speech To New York Democrat State Convention, May 22, 2002)

Terry McAuliffe - “Are [Republicans] going to run on their plans to contaminate our air and water and then stick taxpayers with the clean-up bill?” (Terry McAuliffe, Speech To New York Democrat State Convention, May 22, 2002)

Terry McAuliffe - “To distract us from the broken promises . . . the President and other Republicans have tried to use the war as a partisan political prop, claiming that we need to elect more Republicans in order to defeat the forces of terror.” (Terry McAuliffe, Speech To Maine Democrat State Convention,” May 31, 2002)

That reminds me of the Onion story, from way back before the election of President Bush. I can't search for it here (it's blocked by the proxy), but it was about Al Gore ridiculing the people living in a town in Pennsylvania while on a campaign stop. There was one line that mentioned 'ass-faced non-people'. It was hilarious. Maybe someone can find it, if it's still online.

Nothing like a good laugh to wake you up on a hot afternoon.

Hillary Clinton riding the subway.........

I don't think the human mind can even begin to imagine that. Remember Bubba claiming he used to walk through Harlem on his way to the airport?

Geeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!!!

... Turning to sneer derisively at members of the Monongahela Drum & Bugle Corps, whose 225 members stood nearby on the steps of the capitol, Gore wrapped up the verbal assault.

"Every second I spend in this dark and evil state is sheer agony," he said. "A second feels like a week in the presence of you monstrous non-people. I would have left Pennsylvania long ago, but I wanted every last one of you grubby, ass-faced animals to realize exactly where you stand in the food chain. You are not a part of that chain. You exist outside of the human community, and when I am in the White House, I will make sure that the whole nation—indeed, the world—understands that fact with no ambiguity. I will not represent you. I will not defend you. I will allow and even invite any nation to invade and destroy this horrible graveyard of the soul. To hell with all of you, and good riddance."

I know others here have already commented on it, but that's the funniest thing I've heard or seen in a long while!

Hillary riding the subway...

lol...sure, sure there's no doubt is there???

IF, Hillary did ride on any subway, most of the regular working passenger would have been crowded out by her enablers/apologists, her guards, her adoring media presstitues.

Was this another 'listening' tour? Similar to the one in her 2000 Senate campaign wherein she partook in numerous photo-ops, gave a nod to the 'people', refused to answer any questions by constantly stating she was on a listening tour...but the people were not allowed to approach her. Like that tour??

Thought this would be good for a laugh when I read this. I had forgotten they put this up and found it when I was looking for something else. I remember laughing when the story of clinton talking about walking through Harlem on his way to the airport came out! And to think some nitwits actually buy into their stories!

If she was on the subway, it was because someone told her that they lost a dime there.

Of course there was no reference to the large group of assorted bodyguards and hangons that were also with her.
