The Hilton extended his visa after 9-11 for PERMANENT WORK STATUS. This guy was here on a work study program and came from a ton of money from family in Saudi Arabia...time to dial up the cops on this one.

OMG, that's incredible. And the Hilton let them stay at the cafe? Even more incredible. Time for you to raise a huge stink. Call the Naples Daily News and tell them about the 911 incident. Luis, a FL hotel story with legs. Do you know of a way to get Hilton involved in cleaning out these jerks? Threats of extremely bad PR might get some action, no?

MFH, I'm serious about calling the press. The Naples Daily News is pretty conservative, reflecting views of their readers. I've had good luck in the past emailing them to talk about stories. Ms. O'Malley, who wrote this one, might sniff a Pulitzer if she was able to follow up with all of the hotels in FL, at least SW FL where Republicans rule and the press is not as PC as other places.

A retired friend in Ft Myers just up the road from you was op-ed editor for News Press in that city. If you have no luck getting a really smart reporter interested in this, I can ask my friend for suggestions. Good luck!

I want you to be extremely careful. Memorialize what you remember about him & your impressions (take notes, keep a notepad next to your bed in case you wake up remembering something). Type up this stuff--it doesn't have to be organized, just notes. Then e-mail it to a friend. Make a copy of your notes (put it on a 3 1/2" floppy) and give it to someone to hold (or mail it to yourself or a friend or relative). Get the info out of your hands into the hands of someone else for safekeeping.

Most of all, keep yourself safe. From this point on, do not post anything about this on FR. I don't want to know. You don't want me to know. But most importantly, you don't want *ANYONE* reading details about this on FR or anyplace else.
