My question is "why was there anyone other than Christians present if not to look for trouble and be disruptive?" In my opinion, it is the same thing as if they came into a church and condemned what was being taught. The crude audacity of these people is astounding. Even Christians don't presume to enter a mosque and condemn Muslims for their false teachings even though we know it is false and may try to reach them in other ways. There are boundaries, or at least there should be and I have nothing but contempt for those who presume to violate those boundaries.

I respectfully disagree. We need to recognize the enemy and the enemy is Satan. GW's now often quoted phrase, "you are either with us or you're with the terrorists" is not exactly original. It is a variant of the words of Jesus:

The Islamic religion is horrifically flawed. I simply question the wisdom of a public figure blatantly offending billions of Islamics. Offending them won't convert them. Rather, it will put them on the defensive and create hostility toward Christians, particularly Baptists-- Southern and otherwise-- all around the world. To what positive goal?
