This morning I was watching Fox and friends while I was getting ready for work and caught the tail end of them saying that there was another connection between OKC and the dirty bomber. Apparently Terry Nichols(sp?) knew someone with the last name as the dirty bomber. Ex-Wife or something to that effect??? Not sure of all the details. Wondering if any other freepers saw/heard this?

Maybe no connection whatsoever, other than the same spanish surname, hold the horses, at least momentarily.
A freeper noticed that Jose Padillo resembled John Doe #2. This led to lots of research and interesting coincidences, but no proof.
Jose Padilla was in jail in Florida in 92 and converted to islam. He was released from probation in 93. He had traffic tickets between 93 and 97, but no further info on what he was doing.
The grainy picture of Jose was taken in 91 when he was 21 years old. He was born in Brooklyn, and is of Puerto Rican decent. He was raised in Chicago and did time as a juvenile for murder.
Terry Nichol's was married to a Phillipino woman in the early 90's. His ex-wife Lana was married to a man named Padilla around the same time. Terry would go to visit Lana Padilla and their son Josh in Las Vegas.
I have seen no info that Mr. Padilla(Lana's husband) is related or ever knew Jose Padilla. This is something that needs to be looked into. But Padilla is a common hispanic name, so it's unlikely their related.
A report this morning (I think the one in the Boston Globe) said that Padilla disappeared after working for two years at a Florida fast-food place (Taco Bell, I think) after being released from jail. He probably started that job shortly after being released in Aug. '92. So we're probably talking about a disappearance some time in '94.
Another report this morning (I think in one of the Florida papers) had Padilla and his now ex-wife moving into an apartment in '92 that they stayed in for years.
The Chicago Sun-Times yesterday said Padilla went to Pakistan and Afghanistan in the early 90's. This was presumably after he converted to Islam in '92 or '93, and thus also after his probation ended in Aug. '93.
He could have spent a month or two in training camps in Afghanistan and/or Pakistan from mid-'94 on, time enough to be a trained explosives technician by 4/19/95, the date of OKC.
If you are reading this, Fox, I love you guys!
I wouldn't call Doocy a conspiracy nut. Alex Jones is conspiracy nut (IMHO), but even nuts can compile useful information. During the initial coverage of the OKC bombing, there were several news accounts that there were multiple un-exploded bombs found in the wreckage. These were hampering rescue efforts and these devices had to be de-fused. In the days that followed, all talk of these other devices vanished, and the single truck-bomb theory became the official line. The talk of these others being defused was never heard again on the media. this link goes to a real video stream of one of Jones' conspiracy movies (please wear tin-foil hat for protection if you watch it). A lot of it is just Bush-bashing and NWO fear-mongering, but there is something VERY useful there....namely, much of the actual news coverage of the OKC bombing on the morning that it happened, specifically, all of the talk about the other bombs and direct eye-witness accounts from people who were on the scene during the explosion.
There are a lot of disturbing connections between OKC and the first WTC bombing in 1993. In any event, I always had trouble with the official OKC story. There was just too much information to the contrary to so easilly gloss over so many details and write them off as irrelevant.
Padillas wife, Cherie Stultz, who worked with Padilla at the restaurant, also converted, taking the name Marwa. She left the job in March 1994, three months after Padilla, according to Taco Bell corporate records.
So Padilla left his Tacfo Bell job in or about Dec. '93. Plenty of time to become an explosives expert by 4/19/95.
More background on Padillas whereabouts in South Florida appeared in today's Sun-Sentinel, posted here.
He was working at a fast-food joint from 1992 to late 1993, and attended the same mosque as the Pakistani recently arrested for plotting to blow up a power station in South Florida. The information as to his whereabouts is sketchy after 93. He got married in Fort Lauderdale in 1996, but wasnt around for the divorce in 1998. No mention of his whereabouts in 1995.
