Operation Infinite Freep: Colorado Style

I had the pleasure and time to attend a local 'Support Our Troops' rally in Ft. Collins this past Saturday. It takes place every Saturday from Noon to 1:00 PM at the corner of College and Mulberry. On the North East corner a group of people gather who support our troops and the effort to seek out and destroy terrorism. Across the street on the North West corner a band of antiwar protesters meet every week.

The group supporting our troops primarily consists of the local VFW post.. This has been going on since December, every week, rain, snow or shine. The North East corner has been getting more attention since members of the Colorado Patriots Fife and Drum Corps have been showing up. They play a wide variety of patriotic music, including my personal favorite, The Marine Corps Hymn. The patriot supporter side of the intersection is lively and patriotic and people drive by and honk their horns and give us thumbs up and enthusiastic waves.

This is a good place to gather for a freeping patriotic good time. Though this is a VFW gig everyone is welcome to join in the festivities. Each week the anti's group gets a little smaller and we get a little bigger. Come out and join us. Why should the Fresno folks have all the fun!

Remember, this goes on every Saturday from Noon until 1:00pm. I am bringing a bull horn next time. Hope all the Colorado Freepers can make it.

I hope to meet a bunch of freepers out there. I will not be there today as I will be attending the Second Amendment Sister's Family Day at the Range.
