Police Investigate Report Of Kidnapping Witnesses Reported A Man Forcing A Young Girl Into His Truck

Jun 11, 2002 1:27 pm US/Pacific (AP)-(POMONA )-Police Tuesday investigated a report that a girl may have been kidnapped near a school in Pomona.

Authorities received reports about 9 a.m. that a man was seen forcing a blond girl about 8-years-old into a white and brown Ford pickup truck near Vejar Elementary School, 950 W. Grand Ave., said Pomona police Lt. Gary Graham.

The man was described as Hispanic, with short hair and wearing a black shirt, Graham said.

Authorities do not know if the girl is a student at Vejar Elementary School. She may be wearing what Graham described as a "parochial-school-type uniform."

I occasionally tried to throw the girls out of the car. No one reported me either.

Its important for parents to teach their children to not go with a stranger even at gunpoint. The criminal wants to move the crime scene because he can not do what he wants to do in public. There is no upside to going with the scumbag and very little chance that he is going to shoot in public.

There was a case, several years ago, of a man who did this to children all over northern New York and western Mass. He finally tried to force a young boy into his car and the boy refused and ran for help. Bystanders dragged the scumbag out of his car when he was stopped in traffic. He later confessed to the kidnap/murders.

Within the last month, a "missing child" alert went out all over Kansas City right after school had let out for the day...seems a witness described a young boy being forced into a white, windowless van by an older man. Other witnesses had also heard screams....the city was terrified for hours of what might be happening to the little boy.

Finally, after the 10:00 news, a report came across that the boy was ok. Until the father watched the news that night, he had no idea that they were talking about him and his little incident with his unruly son that afternoon. True story.
