This is a true story...my husband use to have some funny partners on the PD who loved having a little fun. One time they were sitting in a parking lot late at night writing a report of an incident they had just been on. Suddenly they heard some noises and saw a drunk waddling down the street, barely able to stand and knocking into everything in his sight. He finally latched unto a lamppost and was hugging it with all his might when my husband's partner got on the P.A. system and whispered....."Hey! Hey you! Drunk! This is God speaking!" My husband said the drunk looked up in the sky and started running with everything he had down the street! LOL!
