Good afternoon everyone. It was a hot one on Long Island today, hot as...well you know. I know some of you are laughing at me...96 is nothing to you...hahaha. Great educational thread Snow Bunny. I learned alot about Submarines and those who serve on them. Either my computer is slow today, or maybe so many Freepers are donating that it is causing my slow connection:-) Free Republic is a great place and the Canteen is awesome.
GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS AND VETERANS

Ha! I know enough about weather to know that a temperature at one place is far different then the same temperature in a nother place. Frankly, I think 96 where you are may well be a lot worse to deal with then 96 here would be. Although I do remember one summer when it was soooo hot here that I made a sandwich and by the time I had walked across the room it had literally toasted! Now.....that's a freakin hot day! :)

Nothing. I just thought it was funny. If you don't laugh, you'll hurt my feelings.
To: archy
Hey archy, those are great pictures. Thanks for posting them.
(My kids had their first Karate class last night. The 11 year old loved it. The 6 year old didn't. We'll give it some time).

A little girl walks into a pet shop and asks in the sweetest little lisp, "Excuthe me, mithter, do you keep wittle wabbits?"
And the shopkeeper bends way down and puts his hands on his knees so that he's on her level, and asks, "Do you want a wittle white wabby or a soft and fuwwy bwack wabby or maybe one like that cute wittle bwown wabby over there?"
She in turn puts her hands on her knees, leans forward and says in a quiet voice, "I don't fink my pyfon weally gives a thit."
