If he really did all of those things, he has no business in his position. Have those things ever been made public? If not, would you like some help?

I'd have to nominate that "history" professor somewhere in California who said that historical events are only valid if the reader wants them to be.

I nominate Cornell West, African-American studies professor formerly of Harvard (soon to be Princeton's problem) and Alan Dershowitz (Harvard law professor, O.J. attorney, and all-around clymer).

Isn't Algore currently teaching somewhere? Didn't Clinton used to teach constitutional law? Algore gets the stupid vote, Clinton gets the dangerous vote.

I nominate Lawrence Eugene Barleen from Franklin High School in Stockton, CA. He was removed from their system last year. He has been teaching and telling students for years that he fought in the "Jungles of Korea". He stated that he fought in Korea at the age of 14, yet he also fought with General Patton in Africa. Additionally his claims are that he taught 'Humong' to Laotians, that he slept with LBJ, fought in the Parrot's Beak campaign in Vietnam and put MaryJo Kopechne into the car that Teddy Kennedy sunk her in. One of the stupidest claims that Lawrence makes is that he served all his time in the military under a phony name, and thus there is no record of his service. Now this guy is really really stupid.

To: doug from upland; Illbay
I second Illbay's nomination.

Robert Jensen can win both the "Stupid" and "Dangerous" categories.

Articles and essays by Robert Jensen

Read his drivel (Major BARF Alert) for proof of his lunacy.

If he really did all of those things, he has no business in his position.

He did and I agree he doesn't

Have those things ever been made public?

Nope. Won't do any good. He never followed the rules so there is no paperwork to prove it. I doubt any teachers will testify against him due to his position. Especially if they have known him since the mid-seventies and are friends.

If not, would you like some help?

I appreciate the offer, but there just isn't anything that can be done. I could travel up to WV and confront him at a Board meeting, but what would that accomplish? School was hell for me, I was ostracized by EVERYONE. That includes teachers and administrators. I was beaten and threatened daily for years. I don't know if you can imagine going from 2nd grade to 8th grade without ever being part of any group or having any friends. I walked 8 miles home from school every day just to avoid the beatings and harrassment. It made me the bitter, anti-social loner that I am today. If there was any chance at winning I would love to see all those who harmed me face justice. But we are talking about a couple hundred people. I don't see it ever happening.

Nominating Lawrence E. Barleen from Franklin High School in Stockton, California was an astounding move. Barleen should win this contest hands down.
