Many thanks for the help on how to get bushbot on my profile. I finally did it this morning. You have no idea how frustrated I have been. There is "zero knowledge" in my house re; computers much less html style. We can afford the computer and I have even gone to classes but never got this far. I am, as always, so impressed with the crowd I hang around with at nite. Have a nice day.

Hey!! what if I include you in my daily prayers. I go to mass daily and in the course of post communion prayers I go down my list of prayers for people. I throw in "all my enemies list" as well as "get my enemies all confused" request. Rush does task the faith, doesn't he?

I
knew it, mountaingirl!! (about the 'quality time,' that is!)
I also laughed a bit when I typed mr mountaingirl. I don't suppose he'd like that too much, would he? We'll just keep it between the two of us, OK? :o)

Thanks for the kind words, kitkat! I know I'll never regret making that trip up to see Dad every week even though it squeezes a bit to do so. He is so excited that my sister and I come.....it makes him so happy it's well worth it, and he'll be thrilled when he sees Eric tomorrow!
And I do know that Eric is in the Lord's hands. What's so neat is that he knows that too. We all felt such a peace that his enlistment was God-inspired, that even after September 11, we were fine with it. Thanks for your prayers and empathy, kitkat!
btw, there were meatballs left (and a little potato salad), there was lots of room on the basement floor, and we did the clean-up all by ourselves, so you shoulda come to the party! :o)

OVER 40???? Who me? Uh...yeah, I am, unfortunately, and you are right. Once I turned 40, everything started going down hill but I really noticed it in my eyes. I got reading glasses last year - when I was 41 - but didn't really need to use them too much. This year, however, I am using them much more. Those stain cans were killer, I tell ya.

Yep. You never think it'll happen to you then when it does you have a total meltdown. Or was that hot flash?

Does Cheney not golf? Did anyone see the C-span coverage of Lynn Cheney's new primer - it is supposed to be out on the bookshelf's (if it already isn't) and it's an A,B,C Patriotic Primer....A stands for America, R is for Rights that we share as Americans...it goes along those lines...
