The orbs in these pictures are probably the result of moisture on the lens.

Two months after my mother passed, my family and my mother in law went to the beach. I had my mother-in-law take a family picture of us. She took one, and immediately took another shot.

When they were developed one was a perfectly normal picture, but in the other there is an orb right at my hand. I wish I had the ability to post them but I do not. How could moisture be there one second and not the next?

Recently I took two nearly identical scenery shots.  One has orbs and rays coming down, while the other does not.  One is pointed slightly more to the sun than the other.  It might be the action of the sun reflecting on the lens and the moisture.  I suspect that your photo angles may have also been slightly different.  Any photographers on FR might add more to this.  I'm only an amateur at photography.
