Well, when Stevie Ray Vaughn bit the big one I was bummed out plus a little astonished that he died due to helicopter failure, and not due to some evil combination of drugs and alcohol. Either way, he went out in a blaze of glory. Long live Stevie Ray Vaughn.... hey, it's floodin' down in Texas!

I wished I had a chance to see SRV live. I think I was 12 when he died.

Couldn't Stand The Weather was on Retro Lightning 1984 on the radio on my way to work this morning....needless to say...I cranked it up.
