Do you think the USSC should be a a rubber stamp for congress--liberals?

No, I personally do not mind having a Supreme Court that is willing to exercise some judicial review. Personally, I don't have a problem with Marbury v. Madison. However, I am willing to acknowledge that my view in that regard is at odds with many of the Founding Fathers, particularly those among them (like Jefferson) who were concerned about the growth of the central government. They were opposed to providing the Supreme Court with the power to impose upon Congress the Court's interpretation of the Constitution. They were opposed to having an "activist" Supreme Court.

Wouldn't 'activist' mean non-constitutional?
