A couple of years ago, I was in SoCal in August. I was to stay at the same hotel as some friends and we planned to walk 400 feet across the street to the Ceritos Performing Arts Center to see Michael Crawford in concert. I figured I'd be the only one who would have to take a taxi those 400 feet because I have a heart problem and I knew the humidity would knock me out and make walking impossible.

To my total delight, the WHOLE weekend was humidity free. I walked all over the place with no problem. When I got back home here in the north, I took one step out of the airport and melted. HUMIDITY!

Yep. Folks don't realize that we actually have humidity in the Northern Cal areas. Good for the skin...but can't give the excuse of a *dry heat*. :o)

It doesn't rain in California between April and October. You can count on it! No humidity, but a wildfire danger. I'm glad you enjoyed your trip, and I hope you are doing well with your health problem.
