Ready for #II here. I'm filling in the gap with some too-long-put-off Ayn Rand.

Great ... glad to jog that memory and I really hope he enjoys it.

Orignlly it was, but Earl Grey, the British Prime Minister in the 1830's liked the blend from China so much, that he exclusively ordered it and it began to be mixed in England and ultimatley many other countries.
It was named for him.
So, though its origins are Chinese, its popularity and use are based upon and credited to England.

I'm glad it is engrossing ... but PLEASE don't let it jeopardize your work!
Let me know what you think of the book when you are done. And if you are so inclined, please consider a short review on Amazon and here on FR.

Our family had a good friend who was with the Airborne and parachuted in the night before. He was part of the group that fought into the town where the guys missed and got hung up in trees and on the church steeple.
Newport is a great man. Another of my heroes. He is quite and reserved ... but will share the stories. God grant that we can always have such men amongst us.

I'm knee deep in Vol I and loving it. Great research and characters without the nth degree of technical detail common in this type of book. Looking forward to the next in the series. Congrats!

Outstanding! Let me know when you get a belly full ... or when you get "neck deep" ... or if you get over your head in it! LOL!
Seriously, I hope you really enjoy all of it and look forward to your thoughts on the book as a whole.
