Nice rendition in posts 65 and 72 of the principle of AAW for the infantry and how it has remained the same critical issue over 50+ years.
Newer, better radar and target acquisition, longer range, faster firing ... but those two platforms are basically the same concept.
Of course there are also some newer platforms like the Avenger systems and others utilizing missiles ... but the platforms you showed in those posts sure represent the "triple A" component.
