I remember Elder had a TV show about a year ago called "Moral Court," feauturing some hot Dominican chick as the announcer/host. I guess it tanked...
Nevertheless, Elder is dead on here.

It's not just public schools in leftist enclaves either. My daughters go to a Catholic all-girls high school run by nuns, and the only recognizable conservative on the faculty is their French teacher.

Larry had no business getting wrapped up in the court show wars; I think it diluted any sort of potential national audience that he has the opportunity to reach.
However, he does have television presence. I would love to see Fox News pick him up in some form as a commentator - if you get the chance, KABC (at least when their streaming works) streams his afternoon drive talk show in Los Angeles on their website (http://www.kabc.com/).

This kid is tight! Would that there were more young Americans like him. We need that fearlessness.

Thanks for the info. I will try to get onto KABC's website when I am out of work next week.

He usually is. And he's the host of a very popular radio show in the L.A. area.

We need that fearlessness. What's sad is that the "educators" are so busy indoctrinating the students into believing that the Dems are their friends that they end up ignoring any real education that can take place in that environment.

I want to know where his parents are. If a teacher did this to my kid and wouldn't even attempt to justify the grade, I would be raising he!!.

That's a pretty harsh and generalized statement to make about "educators".
My sons high school english teacher is a *gasp* liberal. However, he talks about ALL aspects of political views and beliefs and also lets the students voice their own thoughts on politics. He believes that all political parties and each agenda should be discussed with impartiality.
Imagine that? What a concept. It's too bad that more "people" could not adopt that way of thinking.
This man is probably a rare individual and I commend him on his open forum policy in the classroom. My son has learned a great deal from this man and I sincerely hope that my son can become a man with open views to all political arenas and not a narrow minded man without vision.
This reply is not meant to offend in any way, only to point out that not all "educators" are using the classroom as a forum for their own political agenda.

It's meant to be. While I don't like to generalize like that, I have found in my travels that for the most part the statement is unfortunatly closer to the truth than we'd like to admit. You are absolutely correct - this man is more than likely a very rare individual indeed. I would much rather see more teachers like him, as opposed to those that parrot the "party line" and do their best to brainwash the children into following that same "party line." There are certainly some great educators out there. I know some of them, and am even blessed enough to be related to some of them.

What a contrast between the two papers! Note that the poor kid spent only a short time on his shoddy paper, indicating that it was clear to him that careful research and performance was entirely optional. Needless to say, this will not serve him well in the future.
This is one of the clearest indications I've seen that the poor are the real victims of the liberals' policy of coddling mediocrity.
(And yes, I'd love to be on your ping list).

Here, Here! And I am in complete agreement with you in the regard that educators should not parrot the "party line". If they are going to bring up the issues of the various political parties then ALL parties should be freely discussed without their own prejudice being rammed down the students throat and students should not be faulted if they do not share the same views as their teacher.
