Well, thumbnail sketch from my quick recollection: Brenda is at Dad's several days before the fateful night in question and so was DW. Then in next day or so Brenda and two of her kids go door-to-door GS cookie selling. While at DW's making a sale they engage in small talk (including the infamous "I have adult parties" talk) and he tells her he had seen Brenda and her girlfriends at Dad's and he'd like to meet Barbara (I think, instead of Denise---my memory). Brenda says next time (mentions maybe Fri night) they're there she'll introduce them.

I just thought it was interesting that she knew DW wanted to meet her friend. I also found it strange that she knew he was going to be meeting her friend, then turned hostile when he was close by that night. It almost seemed as if a hidden agenda might be working.

Brenda liked to swing, but when a candidate for swinging poped up, Brenda seemed almost annoyed.
