Hmmn - I wish he would have elaborated more on DW's people watching (did he?) Do you recall reading on another forum a post from someone who knew someone that knew DW - and that person said that DW would watch women in an intense creepy way - even provoking comments from his own friends about it - like "chill out dude - your creeping me out" or something to that effect. Just one of many internet posts - but something to think about.

The local commentator's take on it (guy is a prosecutor) was that bartender was interviewed by the cops, and said partying hard. He meant they were dancing and having a generally good time. The cop's interpretation of that statement was that they were PARTYING HARD in the sense of lots of drinking, dancing, boob grabbing, etc.

So it's the cops mistake? He must have misrepresented what Sean said. How sad to make a statement and have an officer of law falsify it.

Ditto. Feldman got him to say that it was a very busy Friday night and he was only one of two bartenders working, so it was possible he did not see everything.

I am pretty certain that bartender did say partying hard, he was trying to explain that he did not mean it in the way the cop portrayed it. hey were just talking about it on the tv...a question of semantics..kind of like, when is a sex party not a sex party.
To: ~Kim4VRWC's~
OMG, Kim! If the police "fabricated" this story, I can't
imagine what else they "fabricated"??

And remember the Red Bull--high-energy drink, supposedly. There used to be a saying about drinking coffee to sober up--makes someone a "wide-awake drunk."

I agree that it's unnecessary to resort to personal attacks.. but it IS important to call people on it when it happens...that IS doing the right thing. Well, this is probably one of the few cases we may disagree on. I bet we agree on more than less. I just wanted the trial to come out to prove or disprove the allegations against the parents... As far as DW goes..I'm willing to wait for more evidence to be revealed against him..

"...a question of semantics..kind of like, when is a sex party not a sex party."...and what is the meaning of "is"....
haven't we been here before?

I missed that post but sounds pretty scary. thanks for sharing...maybe it'll hit the prosecution's desk the way the stuff about the vd's hit the defense desk. That's too important to not send in as a ''tip''.
To: spectre
oh come on..you know the theories as well as I do. The police doesn't like the prosecution. The police leaked info to RR that was damaging to the vds...althought it would have fell in the defense hands anyway..and we know the prosecution is in the middle of an election..

I really don't give a flip what you think, but...........
I did not seek out the battle. This was posted to me:

You would have let another child out of your sight at this point as an innocent parent??? HUMMMM, I find that super interesting.

It was a sarcastic challenge concerning something I said and then the poster would not let go of it after having been shown in error. If you find my defending myself obnoxious, YOU HAVE A PROBLEM; not me.
I am always amazed at Freepers who start a battle and then cry waa-waa when another strikes back. It's way too common around here.
In case you haven't bothered to follow what happened, I was only talking calmly about the trial until your buddy popped up.
To: Mrs.Liberty
Let's break it down even further.
when is a party not a party..
To: Mrs.Liberty
"PARTYING HARD" means drinking hard..and he specifically said that it would include drinking shot glass after shot glass. He said they were not doing that.
To: ~Kim4VRWC's~
Quite true, but just to be precise, when I wrote this: when is a sex party not a sex party, I was quoting the local commentator. They were not my words.
To: ~Kim4VRWC's~
I'm not saying you wanted to slant this..But some of the slants given on this case are incredible. let me clarify that,-- but familiarity OFTEN breeds contempt. I couldn't help noticing the contempt that BvD showed for DW, and the non-chalant regard displayed by dDvD.
To: ~Kim4VRWC's~
I stand corrected.

In case you haven't bothered to follow what happened, I was only talking calmly about the trial until your buddy popped up. South Flank, you were utterly obnoxious to me last night and all I did was claim that Westerfield was "familiar" with the house since he knew the floorplan.
Go back and read the posts on this thread when you're more calm. You don't say "Hmmm, interesting ... ", you lob attacks against the person's intelligence and their ability to grasp the facts of this case just as you did yo me last night.
You have no ability to maintain a civil dialog. None of us here is the ULTIMATE authority on this case. Not even you.
