Well, that settles it. I'm buying Microsoft products. I dislike Nader more than I dislike Gates (who's quite the socialist lately himself).

Man, this is a real dellemna (sp?) for me.

Nader wrote the U.S. Office of Management and Budget, saying that refusing to buy from the world's largest software maker would accomplish more than the government's lengthy antitrust case against the company

Nader here is suggesting that Microsoft does not deserve a TRIAL. But that the US government should be judge, jury and executioner!!!

That's too bad and probably why I didn't vote for him.

``If Mr. Nader took a close look at the software industry, he would find that no one delivers more technology at affordable prices to empower consumers worldwide,'' an unidentified Microsoft spokeswoman told the Journal.

Affordable prices. More like highway robbery because of a monopoly... and it's free if you are trying to blow away a competitor like netscape. Open source will do them in the end but it is going to take a decade or so.

Sure, Ralph. Whatever you say.

Now go take your meds.

=======================

An interesting question: who has benefited society more: Bill Gates or Ralph Nader? Who has created more jobs? Who has increased everyone's productivity and knowledge?...

Maybe Janet Reno should have gone up against Nader and his self-aggrandizing "PIRGs".
