Around 1:20 PM, judt before he play the latest Paul Shanklin parody entitled, "BAD MOOD ON THE RIGHT", he said, now this is just in fun, and "I don't want anybody "GOING FREEPER" on me".
No, the Republicans in the district get judged by the results because they failed to replace the RINO incumbent who voted 6 times against the Partial Birth Abortion Ban (among other RINO crimes) in the primary elections. I'm not going to vote for a despicable person no matter what letter he puts next to his name. If that means a Dem get's the office (that has not happened in this district) than the fault lies with the Republicans and the Party that let the RINO make it to the General Election. If they had done the right thing and tossed the RINO out of the party, then he'd have to run under some other party or as an independent and wouldn't pollute the Republican box with his name and his presence.
Yep. I like the way he is conducting the war on terrorism "overseas". Liked his tax cut. Liked his decision to pull out of the Kyoto Treaty and if I thought long and hard about it I probably could come up with a few more. Then again, I agreed with Clinton on a few issues too with the full knowledge that he was a criminal and a traitor.
I actually emailed my thoughts on his morphing into Perot a few weeks ago.
When he reads email on the air, it's only those who agree with him.........
When callers disagree he is apt to ridicule them.....no room at all for criticism of Rush!
And you have the gall to condemn people you allege are RINOs? Sounds like a double standard to me.
hchutch at #201: Did you think I was going to run off like some crybaby DU punk?
We both know what you were referring to. That thread was our last previous communication, and it was there that among other things you said that you weren't going to run away like some DU disruptor.
Your repetitious reference today reveals your mental trail.
Then how do you explain the picture of Bush on Rush's web site -- the one that morphs into Gore?
You think he would've distanced himself in that way if not for the conservative firestorm? Look, I don't think Bush actually believes humans are causing global warming. All I'm saying is that his dismissive comments were calculated to defuse the situation; if there was less criticism I suspect he would've been less dismissive.
Or, then again, maybe you just like to harp.
So, in your deluded opinion, someone is a RINO if they refuse to ignore the core principles of the Republican Party and vote for someone who is the opposite of what a Republican is supposed to be? Did you work in the Clinton White House basement in the spin department? Maybe a little side work for Goebbels?
Just because you vote Republican doesn't mean that you are a Republican and that you support their core values. A Republican is not a Republican simply for party power. I mean, I may be wrong, but I thought a true Republican was someone who supported the platform and the stated principles of the Republican Party and not just someone who can march in lockstep and robotically do what he's told. I'm an individual, not a vote to be taken for granted.
It is not all about power. What good is the power you gain if you've abandoned the principles you intended to promote in the first place?
How many of you superlative critics bothered to look up data on global warming, or go to the EPA report? I posted quite a few statistics and links to sites indicating the confusion about the issue.
But then, of course, I am sure that you ignored anything coming from someone who is a dog and a Clinton worshipper. (Snort!)
Hey, here is a question for you to ponder, since I must leave. Do you think that your attacks on people who support President Bush are going to move them to your side? It seems a losing strategy to me, but then, of course, we dogs don't know anything.
Whether or not I agree with you about what Rush is doing, don't send Rush on a USO tour if that's your opinion. He's an entertainer and he's driven by ratings. He doesn't matter squat in your life or mine. Ranting against Rush is like ranting against "Katz" or against "Grease". It's showbiz.
Now when a president trashes the military, like X42, then I agree with you. Our guys on the front lines deserve better. And they have it now.
Shalom.
He is saying that the Administration's position is supportive of the EPA report.
As I understand his remarks, their position is that human activity is "likely mostly" responsible for global warming.
Nothing wrong with it at all. It's just what I would've expected. Point is, the question posed is whether Rush's comments influenced the Administration's response. I think the answer is "yes".
This assertion you make, that President Bush is a criminal and a traitor, just like der schlickmeister, is truly disgusting rhetoric. Care to explain, on what basis, you make such an assumption, or is this just more ad hominem attacks? Can't wait to hear your explanation.
So that's why I had a migraine for the past two days! You snatched my thoughts right out of my head!
;-)
I'd call it a personal attack.
