I have my core values -- and they are Republican all the way -- it is the conservative label I give up because of comments like you have made -- don't care to associated with one issue people that cannot see the forest for the trees. My core values pretty much resemble the President's on abortion, taxes, defense, intelligence, not as much on education but I trust his judgment after almost 10 years of seeing him in action.

You see I don't share the view of the religious right -- my way or I won't vote for a candidate. The stay at homers can do just that but then keep their mouths shut if they don't like something.

If there is an (R) behind a name, I am voting for the candidate because I want control of the House and Senate in D.C. and in OK! That is my priority as a lifelong Republican who has volunteered more hours than I can imagine! You do what you want with your core issues and vote -- I will do what I want and mine is to vote straight Republican! I don't tell you how to vote and I would certainly hope that you are not trying to tell me how to vote or who to support or even who to listen to on the radio.

We conservatives still vote in large numbers. Without the aid of the religious right, Bush is in trouble. Gore would be your hero today.
Why keep our mouths shut because we stay at home? Who are you to dictate that we do? Because we stay home causes you to envy our positions , doesn't mean you can dictate who we must vote for in retaliation for your misery. We chose any one we want. There's nothing you can do to stop that.
