It sounds like we will need to hook up a cell phone to a laptop if we are going to have an internet connection. The wireless network connections to the Convention Center's system is $800+.

I have a cell phone, but I've already maxed out my minutes for the next year this past month. lol. LloydChristmas may let me use his laptop. I guess I should bring it just in case? I don't believe it has internet software on it yet (it's new). Maybe I can get Lloyd to load that tonight. We did NOT order a phone line because it was just too expensive. $235.

I know how to do it that way, but there used to be a way to add it to your home page on FR. That's the one I can't figure out anymore. Did they get rid of that capability?

If I remember correctly, nothing much happens until the first Senatorial District Caucus Meetings where you elect your permanent SD Chair and committee members. The Resolutions(party platform) Committee Member and the Rules Committee Members are the key people.

I have heard of 2 proposed rule changes:
1) A rule 43 substitution which would require all candidates for political offices to agree to a Core Party Platform(2/3 approval on Resolutions Committee)
2) A rule 44 which would close the primary to registered republicans only

Some of our group may have a bit of difficulty, due to
recent developments. We foresee no major problems.

Boy, do I ever have you guys fooled. My favorite activity is sleep. :)

Alissa, I'm sorry you couldn't make it last week. You would have had a good time with those greenies. No rain, we had benches, trees, water fountains and a nice breeze. They had a bare concrete parking lot.
