Would this be a tax on police officers and security guards, or are they exempt from paying the tax?

I would think that anyone that walked into a store to buy ammo would pay the added tax. Imagine the cost of 1000 .22LR cartridges?
I don't think that police officers would be exempt unless their ammo is used in some offical capacity.
Reference this link: http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/pub/bill/sen/sb_0001-0050/sca_12_bill_20020409_introduced.html
"The tax provided for in this section may not be imposed upon any munition purchased by any peace officer required to carry a firearm while on duty, or by any governmental law enforcement agency employing that officer."
It doesn't say anything about Security Guards because they are just sheeple after all.
Wether Police or Security Guards would be exempt doesn't make a difference to me this is plainly an idiotic bill. I can't beleive someone can think this stuff up. These leftist have no shame.

This is treason against the Bill of Rights, and should be dealt with as such.

Stock up now! Next action will be filling out a form every time you buy ammo to make sure the firearm you are buying for is registered. Makes reloading look more feasable.
