checkmate! :)

Excuse me? The board is just being set up. Bush has 2 more years of spending , and creating more goverment programs. He's just begun. He still has to cave to Koyoto, and prescription drug coverage, and more health care. He's not done yet.

Just sign the back of your paycheck, and mail it to:
Bush Social Programs Inc.
C/o Washington Collective and BushBot Co..
Washington, D.C.

Speaking from a conservative-libertarian point of view, ANYTHING to the left scares the S out of me. Judging by how rapidly we are moving towards socialism, his moderate-conservativism BS would be considered communism.

You mean CFR, social meds, federal ed, and the Patriot Act?

That's the same thing the BushBots said about signing CFR. It was a master plan, and he would never sign it.

Wrong again.
Bush said from the very beginning that he would sign CFR. He clearly warned the weak-kneed Senatwhores and Congressmice that he would not cover for them. He basically told them to kill it themselves. Instead, they whored themselves out and Bush did what he had to do to maintain his credibility - - he signed the CFR bill passed by Congress, just like he always warned he would. (See, CFR does nothing to hurt Bush, but probably 80% of the Congressmice and Senatwhores prayed that CFR would never become reality, even while they pandered to the liberal press and voted for it. They wanted Bush to kill it and take the heat. Bush essentially told them all to drop dead. Now it is up to the Supes to kill CFR, but oh well.)

He took a vow to defend the Constitution. It was someone elses fault he lied? You sound like Hillary defending Bill during the Monica trials.

Most Christians I know are thrilled with this Godly President because of his morality, pro-life, pro-family, and pro-responsibility positions. What kind of a church do you go to anyway, that you make these group political decisions, and don't understand the blessing of having this man as our President? Why don't you try suggesting that "your church" joins the Presidential Prayer Team? Your spiritual eyes may be opened (and those of the rest of your church).

YOUR church isn't the measure of all Christianity. Because other godly people see don't see Bush as the blessing you seem to, doesn't make them heretical. And, scary as the thought may be, some churches have a common faith, and that common faith causes the majority to have similar opinions about the actions and beliefs of some of our elected officials. Gasp, wheeze, and stumble, but some of us actually think that that part of Scripture means something that talks about God's opposition to homosexual behaviour. For us, Bush's appointment of an open, avowed homosexual was less than a "godly" choice (especially when he had many others to choose from). Our church is majority disappointed in Bush.

BTW, praying for someone and vigorously disagreeing with them are not mutually exclusive. Some are actually praying for the President that HIS spiritual eyes would be opened.

Least someone here is openly admitting there is no difference between them. Course many of us have said that all along.

No difference between Antonin Scalia and Stephen Breyer? Ron Paul and Sheila Jackson Lee? Patrick Leahy and Rick Santorum? Dick Armey and Maxine Waters? Etc.?

Your foolishness is frightening.

I believe that Rush talked about receiving steroid therapy and what it was doing to him. You may have something with the steroids.

If he's smart, he'll stop what he's doing, because we 'consumers' know better than to believe the tripe he's been dishing out lately.

What you don't understand is that controversy and no holds barred commentary in general sells much more readily than bland commentary. This is proven time and again in media ratings. If anything, Rush's ratings should rise as he proves that he is not just another shill for this administration. And it's natural that most people want to hear independent opinions, not biased defensive talk that is tied to personalities not ideas.

LOFL !!!
Just because you would have caved like a sissy and gone back on your promise doesn't mean Bush had to.

I think the Constitution is pretty clear that the government cannot tell us to shut up and sit down months before an election because a politicians feelings might get hurt.

You think a campaign promise is more important to this country than Bushs vow to uphold the Constitution? No wonder you're a BushBot!

Ah yes, politics as usual. Lie and deceive the ecologists, enviromentalists, and the soccer moms. Good plan. It's all about image ain't it?

No, it's all about stepping on the scumbag left like a cockroach. It's all about defeating the scumbag Democrats and trying to save a once-proud nation. It is about doing whatever it takes because our very culture is at stake. Surely you have heard about the ongoing "culture war"? The scumbags MUST be defeated.
Go, Dubya!!

I truly was one of the first Rush fans { I would try to schedule biz trips to the Bay area so I would be in the car when it was on} but he is losing me fast. He isn`t funny anymore and the constant Bush bashing is getting really old. The guy sounds bitter. Every entertainer, at some point, needs to update the act, but maybe Rush needs to remember why we used to champion his show.

Incorrect, sir. While I can not speak for any other Bush basher, I am a principled Conservative that is appalled at the direction this administration is taking. Did you ever see the movie Animal House? "I got news for you pal, they're gonna' nail us no matter what we do." So, lets stop capitulating and compromising with the Left. If we give them 90% of what they want they will still brand us as agents of the devil. It's time to make the case for the Conservative view. When we do, we win (Reagan 80, Reagan 84, Bush 88, Gingrich and gang in 94). Bush's impersonation of FDR is not giving me a reason to vote for him again.
