I had planned to stop listening to him before because of his bashing, but I made the mistake of listening to him today for about five minutes.

In that five minutes, I lost what little respect I had left for him. Saying that Bush is the same as algore was so absurd that, IMO he has lost all credibility as a thinking Conservative.

I'm wondering if there's something seriously wrong with him.

I always watch the NBC Nightly News to see what the opposition's up to.

Good for you. Somebody has to do it.

Right now Bush is overwhelmed with problems, and he needs a Republican Senate. Every Bush supporter might want to write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper informing your community specifically how Democrats are thwarting Bush's agenda.

Bush is doing just fine without your support, and he'll keep making decisions based on what he believes to be best for America......not on what you think he should do. That's why we elected him, and not you.

I think those Democrats who voted for Gore will still vote Democrat. What you've just typed to me is the same thing Bush is telling the real conservatives. "Screw you, I have the Democrat vote."

Time will tell, aye? I'm one vote. My spouce is another vote. My church isn't voting Bush. My friends are outraged.
You may feel Bush has it made, but it's the vote count in the end that tells the real story.
Bush can turn his back on many who voted for him assuming he's a shoe-in, but you know what they say about the person who assumes....
Bush has lost a lot of people, and has a possible false sence of security. So do you. Don't count your chickens before they hatch.
If it weren't for people like me, Bush would have lost 2000 to Gore.

Maybe Bill O'Reilly is giving him more of a challenge than he thought he would... Heck at this point, I'd rather listen to rap music than Rush at work during 11-2.

Answer my question: how is Bush treading on your personal freedoms?

Yes ma'am! A little authoritarian, aren't you?

Bush has to take more and more of my property -- MY MONEY to fund the following:

His war on terrorism

His war on drugs

His war on domestic poverty

His war on world poverty

His $89 billion increase in subsidies to corporate farmers

His subsidies to the steel industry via tariffs on imports

His signing of the $54 billion government education bill while he french-kissed Ted Kennedy

His idea about giving money to unmarrieds to get married

Now, who's money is Santa Clause Bush giving away? Is money not property. Do I have a Right to my property? Or only as much as Bush decides?

Perhaps, though, the thinking was that since this report isn't any different than what the President said in June 2001, there would be no cause for spin control.

The subject is the Global Warming Hoax, which consists of a grand total of nothing but the spin of the media and the Leftist Chicken Littles.

What possible reason could there be for believing that anything a GOP Administration does on the subject would be given a fair shake?

Rush and Drudge are sidelights on this. If the report went out last week, someone dropped the ball.

If they hadn't, we'd be having different conversations right now.

Folks, as much as we disagree with this, this isn't a 'flip-flop.' His position on global warming is the same as what it was during his campaign. The President is saying basically the same thing he's always said on this issue. This is no surprise.

Let me reiterate: I find arguing with LPers futile!

Why do care about Bush? He isn't your president, you didn't vote for him. Shouldn't you be concentrating your efforts on getting LPers elected to office, including the Presidency rather than its measley .5 percent turnout on federal elections?

If the report went out last week, someone dropped the ball.

I was just talking with a friend who said there was some expert on Hannity and Colmes tonight who says the science in the report is faulty. Said he told someone either in the Admin. or the State Dept. (I don't know which), but they published it anyway. I have no idea whether this is true or not - can you confirm?

But since you brought them up, isn't that EXACTLY WHAT RUSH IS USING?????? DUH.

If you will notice, my critisms about Bush go way beyond this one matter that Rush discussed today. I have been calling Bush a big-government socialist and a LIAR long before this NY Time article came out. You seem to be perseverating on this one issue, yet I have given numerous reasons for my newfound distaste for the dictator. Whether this Times article is accurate, inaccurate, or completely fabricated does not change my mind about Bush!

Your church isn't voting for Bush?! Is that a joke? Did you have a meeting and make a group decision?

Most Christians I know are thrilled with this Godly President because of his morality, pro-life, pro-family, and pro-responsibility positions. What kind of a church do you go to anyway, that you make these group political decisions, and don't understand the blessing of having this man as our President? Why don't you try suggesting that "your church" joins the Presidential Prayer Team? Your spiritual eyes may be opened (and those of the rest of your church).

Am I supposed to care if they listen to my phone calls? That's the best you've got? The police can do that now, why shouldn't the guys who are trying to save your worthless ass have the same rights to stop crime as the police? Yeah, that makes 'em power-hungry allright.

Admitting to being a (haha) Libertarian, says heaps. I thought I smelled dirty underwear and bong water.

His war on terrorism

Powerful argument you've got with this one. We can't have such a thing occurring. Awful. Bad.
