I'm not a Bush supporter, but these folks hate Bush and/or Jews so intensely, they'll scour The Web from the most insignificant loony sites to find evidence that Bush or the Mossad caused 9/11.
And oddly, they all became huge fans of Islam on 9/12.
And sadly, a few Freepers (most the severest headcases have been banned, thank goodness).
He knows what will happen to the Left if it becomes dominated by the "Bush Knew and So Did His Oil Buddies" crowd. He is sensible enough to know that it's nonsense and that the voting middle will not cotton to lies being spread by the Left about a President they want to see succeed.
He knows that the Left is moving to a rabid attack position just as the Republican Right did against the Toon in 1998.
Only unlike the Lewinsky investigation, there's no there there with the 9-11 Whodunit. It just leads to more madness and a wilderness of mirrors for the Left, leaving Bush in the Center and the Right looking like his old Reasonable Self.
Another thing. Corn knows who his readers are. The Nation is read by Democratic Party activists all over the country, like NR is read by Pubbies. He's trying to tell his friends in the Rat activist community to calm down; there's no conspiracy, and all that Daschle, Hillary, and Co. are doing by implying a conspiracy is helping Bush with the voters.
That's what this is all about.
Be Seeing You,
Chris
Yeah you rite ... like you're "not a Catholic".
Get real, Pardek.
