"Thanks for the supportive comments. IMO, you are right-on. My heart aches for the tragic loss of this child and the burden it places on everyone involved. But your comments also bring up the subject of the parents being minors and the doctors over-riding their opinion because of their age. This may not be the appropriate place to bring this up, but it really ticks me off in view of the doctors and laws that now support the right of a child to make their own health care decisions when it comes to their reproductive issues. What really gets me is ; The Parents can't make the decision to end their doomed daughters suffering, but the law says they could have ended her life while she was a healthy, unborn child, for no reason at all.
Grrrrr!!!!!

I am praying for you. I know the terror of thinking you might be giving up too soon or hanging on too long. We all do it. God will work his miracles in his own time, in his own way...just as he did by bringing her to her parents to begin with. Oh....I am so sad for you because I can see the anguish this causes. Maybe little Kaitlin will live, but in either case, we know she will be ok. Bless her little heart.
