WASHINGTON -- Occasional grumbling by some prominent conservatives about President Bush sometimes overshadows his extremely solid support among stalwart Republicans and conservatives around the country.
Many Republicans and Democrats seem to agree that support by itself does not tilt the 2002 elections toward the GOP. Some, however, say it could offset the gains the party out of the White House -- Democrats, in this case -- historically has made in midterm elections.

So you send massive amount of unsolicited junk mail. I'm sure those on the receiving end appreciate that.
I say Bush is doing a good enough job. Bump.
It is a win only for his term in office. The veto power is not absolute. The only way to actually kill it is to have it found unconstitutional.
BTW, be prepared to turn in your keyboard. If you don't vote, you don't get to complain.
I said we weren't voting, period. For no one - unless it's worth the gas money to get there. :-)
If Bush wins again, good for you guys. If not, that's too bad.
If the right gets the Seanate, good. That would be nice. I hope it all works out for you folks.
If a person doesn't stand for something, they stand for nothing at all. I stand for the moral fabric and the rights that support it. Without the moral fabric, the Constitution will not stand either. It will depend on the the meaning of the word "is". After all, there "is" no "wrong" without an absolute.
In 1802, President Jefferson wrote a letter to a group of Baptists in Danbury, Connecticut, in ...... a letter to a group of Baptists in Danbury, Connecticut, in which he declared that it was the purpose of the First Amendment to build ''a wall of separation between Church and State.'' 15 In Reynolds v. United States, 16 Chief Justice Waite for the Court characterized the phrase as ''almost an authoritative ... (End of Quote)
Now since this goes back to the First Amendment which does not say Separation of Church in State, how in the world do you think that President Bush could change this when it doesn't say it to begin with?
Here is the First Amendment to the Constitution:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
I like your new rule!
Maybe you can use this to enforce it:
I have to be honest with you. You are going to contribute to your own demise with that attitude. I shudder to think that there are enough like you to make a difference.
Who would you like to see as POTUS and why?
Looks like the MP's or SP's were here.
A little broken glass, a busted chair, but the home team is still standing. Not bad.
I'm begging you now -- no joking -- SWEAR to me you won't go anywhere NEAR a voting booth until I die.
If a person doesn't stand for something, they stand for nothing at all. I stand for the moral fabric and the rights that support it.
Why do I have a visual of you lying in bed, posting?
When a republican president not only refuses to protect America's sovereignty as a nation but also undermines it with Amnesties for Illegals, I don't see much difference between him and the prior criminal. Oh and per above....
"I guess memories really are short in politics. 1992 seems like a forgotten lesson of what happens to RINOs when they burn their conservative base repeatedly. GUESS WHAT? We Stay Home On Election Day".
WHO SHOULD BE THE NEXT POTUS?
No group prayer on public grounds. "When two or more of you come together, that's where I'll be."
Christians are told to gather together often, and pray at anytime, but the "law" that oppresses our right to do so could get us arrested.
All other religions are embraced and taught as politically correct, but just try Christianity on public funded property!
