The problem with feminism, as it currently exists, is that it has been politicized ... as most things adopted by the left are. In general, the fight for the rights of women is worthy. Unfortunately, the Gloria Steinem's (sp?) of the world have bastardized it to promote a leftist agenda.

I remember, back in the 80s, an article about feminism in which someone went around asking young women why they aren't feminists. The number one reply was "Because I am not a lesbian."
