Welcome To GenderGap.com
GG IN THE STATES This web site, like gender equality, is a work in progress.
American women fought, suffered and sacrificed for the right to vote. They were jailed and jeered. Honor their effort by casting your ballot.
The Elections section has the results of the 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001 elections. It is also the place to go if you want to check out changes and vulnerable incumbents in the current Congress.
Check your state to learn about the women who represent you in its Executive, Legislative and Judicial branches. Take a look at its voter, election and population stats. When did women win the right to vote and what did the voters say about the ERA?
The GG in Government section is the place to go if you want to find out about the women who advise Presidents, make the nation's laws, preside over the courts or govern the states and cities.
The Women and the Military section tells the story of the women who have served in and with the US military since the nation's founding and women throughout the ages who have fought for their country or their cause.
Enjoy your visit and come back soon.
And for what? To put a sociopathic rapist in the White House.
