Egyptian paper slams Condi Rice (BARF Alert!)

A columnist for the Egyptian weekly Al-Usbu' says President Bush's national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice, has "damaged the world of the blacks" and is "suited only to work at a nightclub."

In a column entitled "The American Snake," Kamal Sa'ad excoriates Rice for "calling Palestinian President Yasser Arafat a leader of terror" and declares that she has "shown her great hatred of the Islamic world by declaring her full support for the Zionist terror entity. She even said that the blood-shedder, the terrorist Ariel Sharon, is a man of peace and a veteran warrior."

The commentary was translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute, or MEMRI.

"This woman has damaged the world of the blacks, which produced many distinguished individuals – for example Martin Luther King, the revolutionary who fought racist discrimination; the fighting African leader Nelson Mandela, who spent most of his life in prisons to realize South Africa's independence; Muhammad Ali Clay; and other fighters and men of honor," wrote Sa'ad.

"Some have called her an insolent woman, like the dangerous anaconda snake that attacks anyone in its path. She is suited only to work at a nightclub or to make her bed in the heart of the jungles and forests of Brazil, as a predatory woman!"

Sa'ad then discusses the role of women in the administrations of U.S. presidents.

"It is known that behind every American president stands a woman who raises him to the heart of the heavens, or casts him down to the abyss," wrote Sa'ad. "The American President Ronald Reagan made no political decision without consulting an American fortuneteller by the name of Joan Quigley, whom he met through his wife, Nancy. This relationship became scandalous when the American press described her [as responsible] for the mental retardation that afflicted Reagan. What was strange was that this fortuneteller predicted to Reagan that he would enjoy health and youth at the end of his life – but, unfortunately, he remains bedridden since being struck by Alzheimer's disease, which has made him into a little child!"

For President Clinton, says Sa'ad, it was Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.

"The American President Bill Clinton, with the most famous scandal regarding women, was in love with the childish Jewess Madeleine Albright, the secretary of state," he explained. "He would make no decision without getting the approval of this woman, who became notorious for her short garments that often caused embarrassment when she met political dignitaries. She too, in the end, followed the same path, describing the Palestinian resistance as terror, and she spared no efforts in her support for Israel!"

The column ends with another swipe at Rice:

"These are some bad examples of the women who rule America. We thank Allah that there are no similar [women] in our Arab world, otherwise our lives – we men – would be absolute hell, and we would become prisoners to the declarations of Condoleezza Rice and the other vulgar women!"

Pure Arab racism at work here. Arab Journalists say that if you don't like our racist, anti American, anti-Christian, anti-Jewish hatred, than you are nothing more than a horrible snake that needs to be destroyed.

Wasn't 'mad cow disease' named after (mad, fat and stupid) Madeleine Albright?

Gee. A little pro-terrorist bias here, don't you think?

Gee...we should be worried about what Egyptian columnists think of our leaders. After all, Egypt has the strongest military in the world, has developed a space program and has been instrumental in curing or eliminating many diseases. Oh, wait....no, that's us....

Yeah that Madeline was such a hussy!God bless me that I never saw her in a mini skirt..That would put me off my feed!

I'm sure those modest muslim women must be scared to death to live as they do in this day where even the least educated women hear rumors about the liberties that most other women in the world take for granted.

It must be getting harder for the Imans to keep order; How are we gonna keep 'em down on the farm...etc.

What an articulate, well-reasoned article... This Sa'ad guy must have gotten his journalism degree from Columbia. Of course women who aren't veiled and circumcised will tend to offend Egytian men.

And is full of Al Quaeda and Arafat sympathizers who are happy to donate to the cause.

There was an article in the Washington Compost recently about brisk sales in Egypt of a cheese chip named for Yasser Arafat (actually his nom de Guerre of Abu something). For every 50 bags of chips sold, sometiny amount like 5 cents goes to the cause.

Memo from the desk of the National Security Advisor:

To: Secretary of Defense

Don, please set aside a precision munition for the residence of one Kamal Sa'ad in Cairo. Oh yeah, make sure it's a BIG BLACK ONE. Thanks.

Actually, being slammed by the lunatic Egyptian press should be a feather in Condi Rice's cap. To be ENDORSED or PRAISED by these weird, absurd, medievaly anti-semitic and racist "jorunalists" would put one in the Wacko column of questionable characters at the very least. And... does the word "strumpet" come to mind when viewing a picture of Madeleine Albright in a mini skirt? Oooh... (weird image of Clinton and Maddy on the Oval office rug pops into my head) Arrrrrrgggh! That mental picture is going to take a few minutes to shake off... (whew).

Islam vindicates every secular humanist who happens to despise organized religion. If only the neo-cons in the Reagan administration had pulled their heads of their asses long enough to examine the logical flaw in the thinking "the enemy of my enemey is my friend." When your new "friend" has your name in the #2 slot on his hit list, you should start looking for a new buddy. We should not have intervened in any way militarily when the Soviets invaded Afghanistan. Communism is a far tamer beast than an Islamic fundamentalist state. Our attempts to turn Afghanistan into a Vietnam for the Soviets resulted in 9-11 being turned into Pearl Harbor Part Deux for us.

I could not have put it much better myself. Sadly, however, few will agree with you... unless the events of 9-11 have finally made them realize everything is not peaches and cream in the world. Reagan, or more accurately the CIA back then, should have known that the Afghan Mujahadeens and UBL would soon seek another 'foe' once Soviet occupation ended. And the only other global power was the US, thus we would be their next feasible target.

It may seem a little odd to focus on this one point, but why did they mention Ali on the list of respectable blacks? What did he do but refuse to be drafted so that he could continue fighting and making money? That was his only "fight". And even if you think the draft = slavery, you have to admit that Ali was less principled than he was selfish. His argument basically boiled down to "I don't want to go...Oh yeah, and America is racist and the poor are beaten down" and so on. Ali is not to be respected for anything other than his skill as a boxer (and for me, his boxing skills don't carry my opinion of him as a person farther than I can thow him).

I've been seeing a quite a few of these rants from Egyptian papers lately, and they not only all seem to have the same predictable hatefilled tone....but they come off as juvenile, almost mentally stunted to the point one wonders how they actually made it into print.
If I were an Egyptian I'd truly be embarassed that the world sees this small minded garbage as a reflection of my country.
Pathetic.
