Well then, Condit is one "lucky" fella. He's got a girlfiend on his hands that wants him to marry her, which he has no intentions of doing. His wife comes to town, and by a quirk of fate, some predator does the girlfriend in. Just another coincidence that he stopped calling Chandra at that time too, before anyone knew she had disappeared. And the call to his other girlfriend, concerning a trial, etc., must also be a coincidence.
I'm sorry, I just can't buy it.
Just another coincidence that he stopped calling Chandra at that time too. As I wrote on another thread, this *no more calls to Chandra* sticks out like a neon sign to me. His last claim was that he had NOT ended their relationship, so why no call to her after Mrs. Levy telephones him to say she's concerned, "Hi, it's me ... been some time since I talked with you, is everything ok?" Or, "Your mom just called, she's worried about you, call me to let me know you're alright."
I contend he didn't call her because he knew she wasn't there to answer the phone.
I don't call it luck. I call it a real possibility that the tracks Condit was covering were different tracks than you think.
