May 30, 2002 -- Frustrated cops in New York had to free a suspicious gang of illegal Mideast aliens because the INS "didn't want to be bothered" on the Memorial Day weekend, The Post has learned.
In the end, not knowing whether the men they had nabbed were the hard-working immigrants they claimed to be or a terror gang plotting to wreak havoc, the local authorities had to let them walk.

This "War on Terrorism" is becoming as much of a joke as the "War on Drugs." We have no intention of winning this thing, now do we . . .
Can you believe the Operator said I was the FIRST one to say to get tougher on terrorism in a long time...??????
Looks like they're in the business of assisting with dubious asylum claims. Or is it common practice for U.S. companies to "notarize documents sent from Pakistan."
"Obviously most of the original documents are supposed to be in a language other than English and while submitted the conversion into the English Language is an essence. Not only we do this, but provide each and every possible guidelines to the candidates for e.g. assistance in filling in the form, notarization of the documents sent from Pakistan, Preparation of the Statement in English language etc. etc."
Ranchers and farmers down at the southern border have been trying to organize just such efforts, and are, of course, harassed and arrested by authorities who are busy putting up water and rescue stations to encourage the law-breakers.
Sorry pal but it's too late. The ILLEGALS have taken over and the genie can't be put back in the bottle. The sheeple slept too long and cheered too long for their sports teams instead of participating in a little thing called VOTEING!!
And the next option would be...
You will get no argument from me about the sh!t job the INS does

Regarding the INS screw up in NYC over the Memorial Day weekend (how appropriate) and the unbelievable comments by James Ziglar (see below) I am writing this to express my outrage with the way the protection of the USA is being handled.
If it is possible for 2 minutes, put all the politics aside. This is not a left vs. right issue.
What will it take to get the Federal government to perform its single most important task, that of protecting the citizens of the USA. Forget all the touchy feely, more than likely unconstitutional programs, protecting the country is the number 1 Constitutional mandate.
Other than getting elected, which seems to be priority #1 in spite of every politicians denial, why on earth should the INS be allowed to exist in any form? It should be abolished and rebuilt from the ground up. No former INS employee should be allowed to apply.
We are in a state of emergency, as is evident by the numerous government encroachments on our constitutional guaranteed rights. A person who is not a US citizen should expect to be arrested and deported if they are here illegally. It is 100% irrelevant if there are 700 or 7 million illegals. We know the ones that are the most likely to be dangerous to the USA. Stuff your political correctness and get your number 1 job done.
The founding fathers would never have stood for this but then again they were concerned with the country not the next election.
Did any of you read and understand the oath you swore? It does not seem like it.
I dont know which is worse the INS or the Security at the airports. They seem to be working off the same PC work sheet. Hassle white European males and let everyone else go about their merry way. Well this is one American (not hyphenated) of European heritage that is sick and tired of both parties constant finger pointing and bickering. Do your sworn job of protecting the USA and the Constitution (fat chance on that one).
Below are the two articles, which have prompted this letter.
I attached the May 30th NYPost article and the May 24th Arizona News article regarding Ziglar and his refusal to go after illegals.
What the hell type of diversionary comment is this? Because an asteroid may hit the USA, or there are a handful of US citizens are idiots we should not be addressing this issue?
Illegals are illegal are illegal are illegal. What about that do you not understand?
They are an identifiable threat to the USA and the myriad of alphabet agencies need to go after them. Stay on topic.
And whose responsibility is it to see that the INS is cleaned up?
Some of us have been pointing out this Administration's lackluster approach on domestic security since shortly after 9/11. There is clearly no urgency.
We're at war, aren't we? It's almost a dead certainty that these Illegal Pakistanis with false documents are of the same Wahabi sect of Islam that the 9/11 terrorists were. Will it take another attack to bring this nonsense to a stop?
Or will President Bush finally get on the ball with this?
