The Chandra Levy murder remains in Wednesday's headlines, mainly because the "whodunit" has a political link. According to The Hill , a newspaper covering the Capitol, the Levy family considers Rep. Gary Condit -- a California Democrat -- a suspect in Chandra's murder.
Chandra's family mourned her death on Tuesday, just hours after the D.C. medical examiner ruled that the 24-year-old woman had been murdered. Based on the skeletal remains found in a Washington park, however, the medical examiner could not say exactly how she was killed.
According to The Hill , Chandra's family is now redoubling their efforts to link Chandra's death to Condit, who lost the Democratic primary in March - and therefore, will lose his seat in Congress in January.
Condit is "in seclusion," according to his aides.
A Levy family source told The Hill , "We believe that in her final days on this earth that he [Condit] found out that other people knew about the affair, and we believe that he was trying to break off the relationship."
According to the police investigation, Condit's wife Carolyn was in Washington when Chandra disappeared.

"...reports also state the sky is blue."thank you , I must have missed that report

Condit has acted guilty every step of the way. When Mrs. Levy called him the first time asking if he knew where Chandra was, his response was to offer a $10,000 reward. This was even before she was reported missing. Sure he knows what happened.

According to the police investigation, Condit's wife Carolyn was in Washington when Chandra disappeared. Just a desperate attempt to divert attention away from Gary and emphasize the fact that he is "married".

THIS JUST IN, THE SUN IS EXPECTED TO SET IN THE WEST LATER TODAY.

It's not news. Initially, Condit hid the fact of his wife's presence at the time from the police, but eventually it came out.

Maybe a case of Scott Turow's Presumed Innocent?

He hid a lot initially, and up to this day he continues to hide himself.

She left her apartment either not expecting to go far (no purse, money, ID, DL, credit cards) but being found 8 miles from her apartment blows that or she left with someone she believed would provide for her.

"...reports also state the sky is blue." ...reports also state that Condit was spotted throwing a watch away in a nearby neighborhood trashcan, when confronted with this info, he admitted it, with a not very convicing explaination.
...reports also state various other strange storied regarding Condits behavior, actions, and statements.
To: kattracks
Condit's number one supporter, CNN's Bob Franken, embarrassed himself again yesterday at the DC police chief's news conference. He asked very pointedly about suspects. When Condidit is implicated in Chandra Levy's disappearance and death, Franken will break down.

Did anyone see the short snippet of AM Smith on FNC Channel Monday? She said that after learning about Chandra's remains being found, she thought to herself, "That could have been me."
