As I like to put it, you marry a beautiful girl for ten years, twenty years if you are lucky. You marry her personality for the rest of your life. The same thing could generally be applied to guys as well.

We just celebrated our 35th anniversary last week; my husband and I . I fell for the sound of his voice, and his brilliance. It also didn't hurt any, that we agree about 99% of everything and have so very much in common. LOL

Oh, and he's also a VERY handsome man.

Me too. Self confidence is sexy. A manly man as I call it. And a great sense of humor. Those same things attracted me to my husband and we've been married for 27 years.

Apparently he also has a lot of patience. :)
