Thank-you Dave!!! God Bless all our brothers and sisters!...we will never forget. In fact, our hearts are swollen with pride,.. but at the same time they break... the pain will never go away,.. and it shouldn't. It serves as a reminder of the "reality" of our enduring freedom and the sacrifices made to make it a reality.

Today, I'd like to thank our Commander in Chief for making us all proud to serve. Thanks for "understanding" sir. We salute you..and proudly for the first time since President Reagan we thank you also!! God Bless Nancy Reagan too!! You are taking care of our Commander in Chief, who many believed in, and gave thier lives for. Thank you First Lady Nancy Reagan. You make us proud, and thank-you for taking care of someone we love so much. Mere words can never express our gratitude. We love him so much!!!!!!!

God Bless you and keep you safe Mam.. With all our love and respect,. From the Whittens, who both served willingly!!! WE are here if you ever need us in any way shape or form. And we "do" have experience in Hospice and long term care, which we are willing to offer with love, patience, and freely!!! NO strings attached, anything to help you through this most difficult period. Anything to help you get through it with dignity!!!

We support you in every possible way!!! God Bless!! The Whittens/Both VietNam VETs with tons of grandkids :o) Just want you to know,.. you make us proud. Your love for our Commander in Chief, surpasses the enormous love we feel for your "Ronnie", but ours sure is a close second.

Hang in there, and KNOW with all your heart, that a greatful Nation is standing beside you!!!

All our LOVE, ALWAYS!.... Your Friends, and the soldiers that served President Reagan!!

Thanks, Spook. I don't have very many pictures of him when he was young, so I really cherish that one.

Aw Spooks, I love ya. What a legacy your Dad left for you and your little ones! You carry that sense of humor with you always, and you'll carry your Dad with you. May God bless you and your family.

Hi

I had to go to Tennessee Tuesday and just got back. The name of the book is: "The 84th Infantry Division in the Battle of Germany. November 1944 -- May 1945. By Lt. Theodore Draper. Originally published 1946. The one I have is an expanded reprint edition.

My dad had the edition from 1946. If I remember correctly, it didn't have a roster in it.

I got this one from a seller on Amazon.com for $39.95 plus $3.49 shipping and handling. I think it is well worth it.

I don't know how to link on here so I'll e-mail a link or address to you to you.

I thank you folks for the welcome.

I'm sorry that I'm so late replying, I was out of town all day yesterday and didn't get back 'til the wee hours this morning.

This surely is a fine bunch of grateful, gracious and generous folks that take of their time to make the Canteen a great place to visit

I've lurked so long it seems as if I know you all. Thanks.
