Don't know if I'd go that far, but it was certainly worth the (lengthy) read. I get the feeling, even from this thread, that there is a real hesitancy in New York to delve too deeply into the day, it is still too fresh, and too many people there are still too deeply traumatized to provide a true perspective of that day. The article, in my view, reflected that. It seemed as though as the paper is still exercising restraint, as it has since 9/11, keeping its primary readers in mind.

I'd call that article historical. It will be a good read for schoolkids 100 years from now.
