It's a 3-year trip to Mars. Who can travel for three years in a sardine can? How many can travel comfortably in a sardine can? What if one gets cold feet and becomes psychotic? There's no way to abort the mission. Once an astronaut is on the way, it's Mars or bust. There are serious problems with travel to Mars.

What if one gets cold feet and becomes psychotic?

Congress today declared, "No firearms in the cockpit of Mars Lander!".

Congresswoman Feinstein introduced HB 1776. "The Mars Assault weapons and ice control act."

It's not a 3 year trip to Mars.

It's about a year getting there, a year on the surface, and a year back.

Who can travel for three years in a sardine can? How many can travel comfortably in a sardine can?

We have hundreds of thousands of people sitting in sardine cans here on Earth. Some sit in these cans (prisons) for life.

It can be done.
